How does the weight of WPC compare to solid wood?
Compared with general wood, the specific gravity of WPC decking product is much larger, usually more than 1.1, while the specific gravity of general wood is 0.4~0.7, even the specific gravity of hardwood is larger, the specific gravity is only about 1.0. Even for hardwoods, the specific gravity is only about 1.0. Therefore, WPC decking product is much heavier in the same volume.
How is WPC composite products processed and do they need special tools?
WPC is as simple and easy to work with as wood, and in some ways even a little easier. It is possible to cut, drill, etc. Composite decking WPC with just ordinary wood working tools.
What type of screws are suitable for use with wood plastic composite products?
